Register of stone cutters, [ca. 1870-1889]

This series consists of a volume listing the names of employees engaged in stonecutting on the new State Capitol building construction project. Most entries provide the name; dates are indicated only in terms of a single day and month. Information is arranged by an alpha-numeric code, the significance of which is not explained. Each entry ends with a numerical figure possibly representing hours worked by the given individual, or, in cases where two names appear, the amount of job time completed by both.
